My name is Yvonne Draper; I am situated at Banksia Park in Adelaide South Australia.

I have bred and shown British Bulldogs since 1969.

In this time I became a Life Member of the British Bulldog Club of SA Inc.

Unfortunately due to illness, the handling and showing became too much for me, so I decided to change to another Bulldog Breed, the Frenchie.

I have been involved with Breeding and Showing Frenchies since 1992, and thoroughly enjoy it.

My first Frenchie was Nokoma Danielle (Ellie) a Pied Girl but Ellie was not of Show Quality, so she went to a Pet Home, and she is still there.

Nokoma Louis Pierre (Peppie) Ellie’s Litter Brother arrived on the scene, Peppie was a Black Masked Fawn, and he was a beautiful Boy, who quickly became Ashley my youngest son’s mate.

Like they say, “French Bulldogs are infectious you can not stop at 1”, it is so true. Imogene a Brindle girl was the next to arrive, but sadly Imogene didn’t like the Show ring so Immy became my bed mate.

Next came Nokoma Kiss Me Kate, and Kate was nearly 12 months old when she arrived, it took a while for Kate to come out of her shell and turn into a Loveable Clown.

In no time, Peppie and Kate became Australian Champions, after they were titled Peppie and Kate became my Foundation Stock.

I kept 2 babies from Kate’s litter, Repard Henri (Henri), and Repard Madeleine (Maddie).

Sharryn my daughter became involved in showing and took them through to Australian Champions.

In 2000, when Maddie was 14 months old, Sharryn was on cloud nine when Maddie won Best Exhibit in Show at the Murray Bridge Agricultural & Horticultural Championship Show.

Sharryn suffered from a terminal illness and while she was able, she got great joy from accompanying me to dog shows and showing Henri and Maddie.

Later as Sharryn's illness progressed, she would sit in her wheelchair and watch the Frenchies being shown.

Sadly Sharryn lost her battle with cancer in July 2002. While she was in the Hospice; I used to take Sophie in to visit her.

My Frenchies are Family and the Litters are reared and socialised in a family atmosphere. My aim in breeding is to breed for healthy and well adjusted French Bulldogs.
